Belly Pic Wasn't On the Averages & More....

So the other day after I had posted my new belly pic, both my mom and my sister were startled (not in a bad way) that my belly could have grown that much in a week! LOL:).

I definitely was not pushing out or exaggerating on purpose but since that day have watched my belly closely.

Conclusion: on the average it is not that big yet. It is always bigger at night when I took that picture but not all day. It also does not show in regular clothes quite that much yet! So, there you have it!

Also, we just finished our last practice of two a days!!!! Woo Hoo! The girls worked really hard these last couple of weeks and we look good; although, it is not good enough yet. I am so thankful to God though for the neat group of young women that we are blessed to coach and nurture to become the best player and person they can in this delicate time of life:) The group we have is a joy and I love the opportunity to be a part of their lives!

I held up pretty well during two a days as far as energy and the way I felt. I felt great the entire time and was not that tired during the day ever. However, every night during this second week I came home and basically crashed. Jason and I would talk for a few minutes but pretty much if there was a lull in conversation I was out, normally by 8:20 or so:) Crazy! Jason would let me sleep peacefully on the coach for 1-2 hours before he would wake me up and help me make my way to bed!

He has taken incredible care of me during this season craziness and done so with such JOY! He is beginning to think that just about anything I do is adorable and funny, more so than usual, so we laugh quite a bit! He is phenomenal and I am blessed:)

While he has been taking care of me, we have not had much quality time together, since I have been asleep when I have been home, so tonight we are finally going to get to enjoy one another and spend several hours together! YIPEE!!!

Finally, the excitement of our little one increases with each day as my belly grows and we are further into this pregnancy. We can't wait to find out what sex this sweet little gift growing inside my belly is going to be. It is only 17 days away and we should know:)!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Overdue Update!!

I pray life for everyone has been treating them well.

Life here has been going well. There have been alot of big transitions and exciting events taking place:)!!

1. I graduated from my Master's last Friday, which I had already mentioned. However, my parents, Jason's mom, and my sister and her family came in to town last weekend to celebrate!! They threw a graduation party for me that was so precious! Many of our closest friends and family came and we had a blast! It was a great excuse to get everyone together. We grilled out at a park, played horse shoes and washers, socialized, and ate lots of yummy food. My mom and sister had put in so much effort to decorate cute but were disappointed due to high winds. I for one though still thought it was perfect and ADORABLE!!! I don't have many pictures to post because the ones we got were mainly on my mom's camera before it acted up. I will post what I have though.

THANKS MOM FOR BEING SUCH A SERVANT AND GIVER! I LOVED MY PARTY AND FELT SO LOVED. YOU ARE THE BEST!!

CUTE PARTY DECORATIONS! (only pics I have:()
The napkins and flowers! Fun & Bright!!

It was a good and needed weekend for my family in many ways and I am so thankful they were all here! We had good quality time. Josiah is getting so much older and mobile too! We had to completely remove everything around the house in reaching distance for the little maniac. One day while I was watching him we were playing peek-a-boo behind my furniture. He was crawling after me so fast that we were doing cirlces around the rocking chair in my living room:) Every time he would stop and I would pop out, he cackled so hard and grown up! It was THE MOST PRECIOUS THING OF ALL TIME! I will forever cherish that memory:).

SWEET NEPHEW!

On another note, most people who read my blog will already know this, but my sister found out the most heart breaking news this last week. They have lost the baby. There is no need in me trying to explain how they are doing, you can read for yourself of their strength and FAITH in this trying time by clicking here (www.jamie-babyblackburn.blogspot.com).

2. My season has officially started. Last Sunday the girls came back and we have been going hard since! We leave early in the morning for a scrimmage and team retreat. Please pray over our girls bodies as they have two days off the court. Many are injured or have nagging on the verge of more serious injuries. They are a great group and we have a lot of potential, so please join me in praying over their physical and spiritual health.

3. Finally, I wanted to update everybody on the pregnancy!! It has finally happened, the WAIST BAND OF MY PANTS IS GETTING TIGHTER AND UNCOMFORTABLE!! I am so in that awkward stage of people not being able to decipher whether I am just getting pudgy or if I am pregnant! Boo!!:)

I think I might have felt bambino Campbell move the other day, it was crazy and sent adrenaline running through my veins!! I had just gotten out of practice and sat still for a few moments and the gas bubble feeling/quickening feeling happened on and off for about three minutes! I really have no way of knowing if that was really the baby moving, but it sure was an EXCITING thought that it could happen any day if that was not already the baby:) It hasn't happened since but I look forward to the day it happens and I know without a doubt it is our precious little baby making it's presence known!!:) God is so GOOD, I love the way he created us and the process of carrying the gifts He provides!

I am going to post some pictures below of my belly. The first is of my belly at like 6-7 weeks and the second is at 16 weeks. There is a difference. It is slowly growing, so weird. Anyways, I will continue to post prego pics throughout pregnancy but I am not sure that once it is easy to see the belly that they will be bare belly pics anymore;)!!

6-7 WEEK BELLY PIC

16 WEEK BELLY PIC (lighting not very good, but the best we could get:))

Well I have to head out to finish getting packed and shower! Love you all.

God Bless!

SCHOOL IS OUT FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YEAH, YEAH, YIPPEE, WOO HOO, YEE HAW!!!

Last night I turned in the last assignments due for my Master's Degree in Conflict Resolution and Mediation! I can not describe the relief I am feeling to have it all off my chest. It is absolutely wonderful:)

I thank God that I was able to receive this degree. He taught me so much about myself and I learned a ton of applicable life lessons. I would not trade the knowledge but it was time to be finished.

I can now move on and FOCUS ON PREGNANCY:) and relax as much as possible the next two weeks before season is here!

Sorry I haven't had much to post lately or many pictures to share, I will try to get better!

I pray everyone is being blessed and enjoying life!!!

We Heard Our Little Bit!!

Well, yesterday was Jason and I's first doctor's appointment. It was AWESOME! We heard the heartbeat and it was strong and healthy at 171!! Then, we got to see the baby and get pics! They said it appeared that little bit was attempting to or was sucking it's thumb! Crazy! I mean not even two inches long, but all organs and everything are there and continuing to develop!

It also was good to just finally have a chance to talk with my doctor and ask her a few of the questions I had:)

I took a CD in to the office to see if they would be able to put the pics on it for me, but they were not sure if they could. If I can find someone who has a scanner, I will try to scan them in for everyone! If not though, all you mommies and most non-mommies know what those pics look like:)!

They gave me the due date of January 26th!

Thank you for your continued prayers!

Sister News!

There are so many neat life experiences, bonds, understandings, etc.. that a part of the unique blessing of having a sister. Not all sisters experience them but most do, they are just part of being a sister. It is one of the neatest relationships on earth!

Then there are those other sister experiences that very few people get to share and one of those is what I want to fill you in on. Of course if you already have read my sister, Jamie's blog, then this will come as no surprise.

JAMIE AND I ARE BOTH PREGNANT!!!:) It is such a precious time of life and we get to walk through it together at least this once, at least this time, her second and my first:) God is good! Such a blessing! We both have our first appointments coming up to where we will know more details about due dates and how close we really are in the process, but from what we can tell, we are within one month of each other!

I just think it is so cool! We always said, like all sisters do, how fun it would be to have our kids close together and how much fun they would have. If we only knew that God was looking down on us smiling and knowing exactly what that was going to look like. Josiah at 15-16 months when his first cousin and first sibling are born. The three of them will be so close!

Anyways, I wish I had some childhood pics of Jamie and I to add to the adult sister pic, but regardless.

We are thrilled!:)

Life Lately....

I just got back from spending a week in Houston with my family! It was wonderful, relaxing, and like I always say, much needed. Once again, I wish Jason could have been there with me, but for this season, such is life!

Mom and Dad took great care of me as always, they pampered me is how I define it, but who will complain, not I!:) I spent majority of my time with MOM:) We looked at baby stuff, ran errands, went to fun lunches, cooked dinner, and much more. However, in the mornings before Dad left for work, on the weekend I arrived, and in the evenings Dad got to be with us. Then on three of the days I was in town we spent time with Jamie and Josiah! My nephew is the sweetest, most precious baby ever! He is a HAPPY baby!

Last Sunday we celebrated my Dad's Father's Day early since I was in town. We went out to Jamie and Jay's grilled, hung out, and enjoyed a nice family day. It was great fun! I have a few adorable pictures of Pappa Bear and Josiah together from that day, his firts Father's Day, being a grandfather!! Unfortunately I did not get many other pics of anyone else.

Not only did I not get pics on Father's Day of others, but not the entire week. We are going to have to get better about that! My new mission is to get pics of all family combos when we are together from here forward!

Anyhow, as for pregnancy, there are some days where it still just doesn't seem real or it is surreal. I am sure once I have a baby bump or start feeling flutters it will start becoming more real or after my first doctor's appointment when we get pics and hear the heartbeat. Regardless, it has been fun! I have not been sick except for one day. I am so INCREDIBLY THANKFUL for that!

Funny pregnancy fact:
Meat and myself currently don't quite jive. If it is meat that is part of a hamburger, cut up finely in pasta or salad, the meat in tacos, and variations of that sort, I still enjoy it. However, the thought of having a solid chunk of meat sitting in front of me on a plate, could not be further from appetizing. On top of that, I have also been having a hard time with smelling ANY MEAT cooking! Hormones are crazy things. I will have to work hard to still cook with meat for my sweet husby, so he doesn't have to miss out on meat due to my weird hormonal aversion!

I will keep you all posted on pregnancy and try to start adding pics back in my blog posts. However, belly pics will not be coming until there is something to show!

Have a blessed day and weekend!

Miracle of Life

We are excited to share that.........

Jason and I are expecting our first little bambino!!!!!

We are beaming with JOY! It is apparent to us both that this is God's absolute perfect timing for our family! He is so GOOD to His children!

I don't go see the doctor until July 1st, but the approximate due date I was given from the online prego calc is February 1st:) That calc also estimates that as of now I am 5 weeks and 4 days along. I need to get the little pregnancy tracker bar on my blog itself, to keep whomever my blog readers are up to date on how big the baby is and how far along I am. I will get Jamsky to tell me how to do that! Also, I will start posting belly pics I am sure. I always love it when everyone else does it:)

So far I have not been sick at all, Praise God! I have been a little more tired but nothing too bad! We will see what is to come over the next several months!

Well, we are just thrilled!!! A baby Campbell to add to the mix of so many of our friends' and families' little kiddos!!

We ask all of you to join us in prayer over this pregnancy, the health of the baby and myself, and that this precious child will grow up with a fierce HEART FOR GOD and understanding of His ways.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed day!

Yeah for a BABY!!!
