Introducing...

OUR SWEET BABY GIRL'S NAME....

Ava Reese!!!

We have liked that name for a very long time and keep trying to come up with other options that we would both like and agree on more, but have failed in any attempt to trump this name!

Also, Ava has been making her presence known on a daily basis the past week or so and each day I am recognizing her movements more and more. They are also becoming stronger more often! It is such AN INCREDIBLE, NEAT, EXCITING, AND MYSTERIOUS occurrence all wrapped into one!! Throughout this process I am continually amazed more and more at God's perfection in creating this process! I can't wait for Jason to get to share in the excitement and feel Ava's movements.

Well, that's all for now FOLKS!

We just couldn't contain our excitement anymore in sharing what this bundle of blessing in our lives will be called!

Have a blessed day:)!

It Must Be the Water:)

Jason and I are pleased to share that we are going to have a baby girl:)!!! We are so thrilled!

We went in this morning for my 20 week ultrasound, anatomy check, and gender identification. So obviously we found out we are having a sweet little girl and she is measuring to be "quite a girl" if you feel me. At 20 weeks she is 10 inches long and 14 ounces from what the doc had to say today! We couldn't believe it. I thought well surely my due date has moved up then, but the doctor seemed convinced that we are still on track for January 26th!

Regardless we are not concerned for God has perfectly knit and formed this child together and continues to in my womb. We spent as much time as we could today just PRAISING HIS NAME for everything looking perfectly healthy and healthy growth!

It is so fun to refer to our little one as a baby girl now, we love it!!!

To explain the blog title, we have ten friends or faculty and staff members that have had babies in the last year, all in which conceived their children in Abilene, and they have ALL been baby girls! It is truly nuts! Everyone was holding out hope that Jason and I would break the cycle, have a boy, provide a hubby for their girls, and provide hope of conceiving boys in A-town. For some of the men today it was the last straw, supposedly everyone is planning on moving out of town so they can have their boys and then they will come back after the fact. CRAZINESS!!

Anyways we are still working on a name, but we do have some front runners. Hopefully we will be announcing that in the next couple of weeks.

Please continue praying for the health of this baby and my discipline! As the season has gotten started it has been harder and harder to find time to workout and make good eating choices when we are eating out on the road with the team for all of our meals. This baby girl needs a healthy environment to continue to blossom in and I covet your prayers in this time!

Below are the ultrasound pics from today and one pic that my mom took yesterday of my 1/2 way through pregnancy self:)
