Question for moms...

We are starting to look into convertible car seats. At this point I know nothing. I am assuming that there are some that can be both rear and forward facing and some that are one or the other. I think I would line to just make one purchase. If you don't mind and have young kids, I would live to hear what you have found that you like and don't like, the reasons, and any other advice! Thanks:).

I definitely recommend buying a convertible car seat. I have an 8 month old and bought a Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite (convertible). This one had great safety ratings, but the final factor for me buying this car seat is that you don't have to re-thread the straps for height adjustment. It's awesome!
I have also used the Britax Roundabout (convertible) when my nephew was a baby and loved it as well. Britax is a bit more expensive as well.

We LOVE our Britax Marathon carseats. You can google "britax sale" and find some good online deals.
