Impatience Setting in...

Well this morning I am signing in to share with you all that the patience of waiting to meet this sweet little girl is coming to an end!  We are READY to meet her! 

I can't wait to be holding her in my arms instead of have her in my belly, although that has been wonderful! 

We have many family praying and hoping she will come sometime between now and this weekend as well as several friends who have just bet on tomorrow!  We will see:)

We just keep praying for God's perfect timing for our little girl and that all family who will head this way once they get the news will be able to make it here in time! 

If she hasn't come by her due date next Tuesday then we will probably be inducing next Thursday.

Nursery!!

Hello all!!  I just wanted to take a few minutes to finally share the nursery:)  It is so sweet!  I love it and can't wait for Ava to make herself at home in it!

New Belly Pics and Update...

So...

Mom has been here all week to help me get the nursery all together and get all things finalized for Miss Ava to get here!  It has been wonderful and Mom has helped make sheer miracles happen in the amount of things we have gotten done!  THANK YOU SO MUCH MAMASITA for being so willing to selflessly pour out all your love!  Can't wait to you are back here sharing in the the joy of Miss Ava and helping Jason and I in our first few weeks of parenthood!

The nursery looks great!  I will post a few pictures soon, but there is one last touch I am waiting on before I do that!

As for where I am at... this past Tuesday the doc said I am still dilated to about a one and more like 70 percent effaced.  Ava is engaged and we are just waiting.  Any day now until the 26th:) 

It is actually starting to become more real that she could be here anytime:)!!  So cool! 

Anyhow here are some 38.5 week belly pics that I took earlier today!  You kinda get a sneak peak of the nursery in the background but not the entire thing until the final touch!

Quick Update....

My progress is the exact same as it was two weeks ago.  My doc said due to that she still very much thinks I am on track for my original due date.   Ava is still head down, strong heart beat, and my doc guestimated that she was somewhere between 6-6.5 pounds which would put her on track to be 7.5-8 at delivery! 

Everything is still looking good, PRAISE GOD!

Ava update....

So, I have not updated in awhile as far as how close it is getting for Miss Ava to be here.  My due date at this point has not been changed and is still looking like January 26th.  However, when I went in two weeks ago on Tuesday I was 1 centimeter dilated and 50% effaced at 5 weeks out.  I go in again on Tuesday and we will see if things are the same or have progressed even more.  If my due date were to change then it is getting very near to the time for us to meet our sweet little girl, if not, we are still only talking three weeks!  It is upon us.  We are so excited!!  However, I must admit there is still much of the time it seems surreal.  I feel like it probably will until we are holding her in our arms or heading home from the hospital. 

I feel like I dropped yesterday on New Year's Day.  I have carried pretty low all along, but to me it seems like I dropped even more.  Who knows though right?  I feel like so many things are hard to tell eventhough the books and doctors say you will know if it happens.  I haven't decided if I buy that yet:) lol!  Like Braxton Hicks contractions for example... I mean I now feel like I might have had like a total of three or so where my entire belly tightens up, but there are times when Ava is pushing on every inch of available space with different body parts and it seems pretty close to the same thing to me! 

Pregnancy, it is such an interestesting, exciting, and incredible process!  I have throroughly enjoyed being pregnant.  I have been blessed with an umcomplicated pregnancy and have felt great the whole time!  I am beginning to be a little more uncomfortable and a little more tired but that I can handle. 

Please be praying over Ava and I both in the upcoming weeks for an uncomplicated and healthy delivery for us both.  Also, for Jason and I as we embark on the journey of parenthood and are entrusted with this sweet baby girl to nurture, love, and raise here on earth!! 

Maybe more updates to come Tuesday and maybe not!  I will keep you posted!

Maternity Pics!!!

So a dear friend of Jason and I's here in Abilene who we are in life group with is an excellent photographer!  Wendy is very gifted by the Lord in photography eventhough it is not her career.  Her and her husband Josh braved some unfavorable weather with us on one of Jason's days off in order to take our pics.  The weather never made it above the low 40's and the wind was quite strong; however, we laughed, toughed it out and had a great day!  Thanks guys for hanging in there with us.  We really appreciate it:)

In our opinion the pics turned out ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!   We are so pleased:)  There are so many good ones to choose from.  I will post some of my favs for you all! Enjoy.
